Office 2003 SR2 UPdate failes with errors #0x8024200B & 0x80240022

Based on the messages I read in a differet thread it seems the SR2
Update has some serious installation problems. Mine failed wtih the
above 2 error codes listed in the WindowsUpdate.log file. I tried
several different things to fix the failures, none of which worked:

1. Re-run the update
2. Run the "full installation" version of the update that does not
requre the CD
3. Update my registry to include the proper path for the installation CD
4. Install the latest Windows Installer spftware

None of my previous Office (or XP) updates had this problem. I'd agree
with a previous poster who said this one is buggy.

Birk:

Try running Help->Detect and Repair from all your Office products before
trying to install the FF patch. Also, let me know what Office products you
see in Add/Remove programs.
