I had a PC with Office 2003 Standard installed.
The user then needed Office 2003 Pro. I did the upgrade over the top of the
current so I wouldn't have to re-setup all the user preferences for Outlook,
Word, etc. Now there are two entries in Add/Remove programs. A tech that is
installing 3rd party software is stating that their software will try and use
the Office 2003 Standard if it's there, and will not work correctly. Besides
removing Office 2003 Standard and then re-installing/repairing Pro, is there
another way to clean up this mess? I guess that will teach me to cut corners.
Thanks!
