Can you please tell me if OUTLOOK 2003 Standard Edition is same as OUTLOOK
2003 PRO,
i mean same functionality ?

Yes, all versions of Office contain the same applications - the version
differences are only of the number of applications included. Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, etc. are all the same versions.

Thanks Milly:

but my problem is not the applications. my problem is functionality.
My question was if Outlook 2003 Standard Edition has the same functionality
as of Outlook 2003 Professional.
I did some testing on Outlook 2003 Professional with Exchange server and it
worked perfectly so i was wondering
if i will do the same test with Outlook 2003 SE, will it work the same way ?

Here is my Test:
Some of employees has 2 Email addresses (One from Exchange and One from
POP3), and in Outlook 2003 Pro
you can make choice to send the email from different address, i just wanna
make sure if the same functionality is in
Outlook 2003 Standard Edition.

thanks.
Rajiv

The only possible difference would be if you have a volume or Enterprise
license and are entitled to Office Professional with InfoPath and IRM.
Otherwise, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are ALL the same versions with
exactly the same functionality. Only if you have the enterprise license (or
SA) would you have the inclusion of IRM in Office.

Otherwise, they are exactly the same across all office editions.

Hi Milly,

Wellll..., :) in Office 2003 Word in the standalone and
Professional Editions isn't the same as in the
other Editions. In standalone and in Pro it has
the additional XML capabilies.

For Outlook, the Standard edition doesn't include
the Business Contact Manger addin.

The chart in the link below is a nice one for seeing
what's in each one :)

Oops - my bad. Except for the XML stuff, and the fact that the BCM is an
add-in installed separately, I stand corrected.
