Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition

Andrew Staley

Is there any reason not to buy this over and above the standard edition ? I
am currently looking to upgrade from Office 2000 to this latest edition, I
am not a student and dont really want to pay £300+ pounds for the SBE
edition if I don't have to. I also dont want to download a warez version
either, I prefer my software legit.

Currently I cant see the difference between the S&T Edition and the SBE
edition. Or should I maybe wait and go with an OWM version when there
available.

Thanks in advance, Andrew.

Office 2003 S&T edition as you may think from it's name is a reduced-price
edition of Office 2003 Standard exclusively for students and teachers You
may upgrade Office 2000 to Office 2003 by purchasing an upgrade version,
which is cheaper then the SBE one. see http://shop.microsoft.com for
details.

I think that you need to show proof that you are a
student or teacher to purchase it (at least you do when
ordering from some sites on the internet.

Andrew:

Buy the Student version. You do not have to show proof of student status.
The Student version can be installed on three computers.

BTW, note the details of the bundle I bought yesterday from Office Max:

$150 for Student version of Office 2k3.
$50 (with $50 mail-in rebate) for:
HP 7350 color inkjet printer
HP 320 digital camera

The bundle is available through 11-1

First, check the M$ Office site and make sure you'll get the Office apps
you'll need.

Second, know that you can not upgrade the S & T edition.

If you know you'll want to upgrade, or will have to buy additional apps,
then it might be cheaper in the long run to buy a full version.
