Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition

My sister has Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition installed on her dorm
PC. The hard drive in her PC died so I am in the process of replacing the
hard drive and upgrading the computer. I have installed this software on a
temporary PC for the interim while I rebuild hers. When I install Office on
the rebuilt computer again, does that count as the 3rd installation of this
product?
Also, I will be giving her my old laptop and planned on adding this to the
laptop. If the software gets installed and uninstalled on different
computers (the software will be uninstalled from the temporary PC), will this
effect installation or registration of the product? Hope this wasn't too
confusing. Thank you in advance for any help on this.

To expand on Paul's response, you can install Office 2003 S&T
concurrently on three devices belonging to the household of the
student. If you remove it from one PC (like in your case where it
broke) you may install that licensed copy on another PC. This is all
covered by the EULA.

You can read the EULA on-line at:
http://www.microsoft.com/legal/useterms/default.aspx

Look for the sections titled "1.1 Installation and use." and "13.
Software Transfer."
