Tried to replace Office 2003 Student and Teacher with Office 2003
Professional to add Access. I removed Student and Teacher and installed Pro
only to have other programs become slow and hang up. I then removed Pro and
everything seems to work OK but when I go to Tools and "View list of
Microsoft Software installed on the computer" it has "Office" listed twice,
each with a different Product Identification Number. Does this mean that
even though "Add Remove Programs' does not list any office programs, that
both versions are recognized in the registry and could be creating problems?
(Forgot to mention that I am using Windows XP home.) If I can't sort this
out I may have to start with a clean disk and a total reinstall of Windows
and all other software.
Thanks for any help
