Office 2003 Student install over Office 2000 Professional

I have Office 2000 Professional Academic installed on my
computer. Will Office 2003 Student install over it and
leave Access 2000 and PowerPoint 2000 functional?

Hi David,

The MS Installer is designed to not remove production
version apps that it can't replace in Office. You can
use the custom installation choice to get more detailed
visibility and control over how Office installs/updates.

Powerpoint 2003 is included in the Office Student &
Teachers Edition, Access 2003 is not.
