Can someone please tell me how I can use any of my office programs if every
time I go to open them I have a error occur. I continue to send the error
reports off, but nothing has happened in regards to the problems being fixed
for over a month now. I am pulling my hair out and its obvious the error
reporting system is a failure if noone at Microsoft has contacted me and none
of the updates recieved and installed have repaired the proiblem. I have put
the disk back in and carried out the repair reinstall program over 5 times
now and nothing has changed. please someone help as I am in despereate need
of accessing my Email and Word documents.

It might help if you detailed the error in its entirety

The error reporting system (send details to MS) is, I believe, primarily
designed to enable MS to see if the same errors occur in multiple cases, so
if neccessary they can create a fix. Its not your personal contect point to
/ from MS

calm competence nearly

It's awful when this kind of thing happens but it can be solved.
It sounds like you've done the first sensible thing by trying to repair the
installation of ms office. When you try the repair do you get a message to say
if it has been successful?
Do you have a problem opening any other programs?
Have you tried looking up the error- type the error number with the word
error into the address bar .Usually this gets a good response and you might
find what's at the root of the problem?
Have you ever had the office suite working .If so you could try a system
restore to a date before you had the problem.
A virus scan might be in order.

Ok So it keeps coming up with a box that says "the operating system is not
presently configured to run this application" Exception Information: Code:
0xc06d007e. I don't know what else to tell you. It is doing the same thing
for all office programs. how do I get in touch with Microsoft office support?
reloaded office last night and seemed to work for a bit but I tried again
this morning and the same thing again?!?!? I have no idea about what to do,
or where to look for the correct info. it has worked fine for over a year now
and never given me grief. do you need more info?

Cheers

Corey
