Office 2003 -- System Shutdown Problems

After installing Office 2003 now with the tech. update the
computer is experiencing shutdown problems if any office
app is running during a session; if office is not used the
computer shuts down cleanly. The two errors are related
to files/programs that are not closing and the system
prompts for an 'End Now' response.

Any suggestions....

Hi Chris,

What version of Windows are you using (including updates)?

If you are getting specific error messages, what are they?

Did this start after installing the Office 2003 Update
to Beta 2?

Do you get the same problem when running Windows Safe Mode
or Office Safe Mode?
