I'm experiencing a strange problem when I'm adding
templates to the New Document Task Pane in Office 2003.
If templates are added to Section 2 or 3, with Action set
to 1, new files are created in Excel and PowerPoint (as
expected), but at the same time the default HTML editor
(FrontPage in my case) also tries to open the template.
A customer of mine can duplicate this behavior, but in
his case the PowerPoint or Excel template is opened in
Word rather than in FrontPage. This is an obvious 2003
bug (no such problem with Office XP).
Any idea what's happening, and (more importantly) how to
prevent this from happening? I'm asking because this sort
of screws up one of my applications (see the Task Pane
Wizard on www.mswizards.com)
