Office 2003 to 2007 (Technology Guarantee)

I've read that if I purchase a full retail version of Office 2003
(Professional, for example) that I can qualify for a free upgrade to an
equivalent version of MS Office 2007. How does one take advantage of this /
is this true?

Hi Stewart,

The information on the technology guarantee for a low/no cost upgrade to a matching 2007 Office system product if you purchase an
Office 2003 *retail* product after 25 Oct is available here. The 'rules' vary by country.

OEM copies (those intended to be sold with new PCs) have their own technology guarantee program through the PC suppliers, and volume
license holders come under the MS Software Assurance program criteria.
