We use an inhouse document management system through mySQL. Something has
changed however, which has caused everything we scan directly into our DMS to
"auto crop", which in turn cuts off the bottom of every document we scan in
using our Visioneer Strobe XP 100 scanners.
It was originally working using the XP100r2 driver on 2000 and XP
workstations, running mySQL on Windows 2000 server. We upgraded our server
to Windows 2003 Standard Edition. It seems that since that time no matter
what I change on the Worlstations, it will only allow Microsoft Office
Document Scanning to be the interface between the scanner and the DMS
application and I am unable to get MSO Document Scanning to stop Auto
Cropping whatever is scanned in.
This has virtually discounted the numerous scanners that have been purchased
for this purpose. Would appreciate any help anyone can provide.
