Office 2003 Unable to Download Updates

R

Randy

Good day everyone,

I have Office 2003 (20 License) on my network and have been installing it on
clients using the network share.
I have tried to to download updates for the Office Update site but without
success.
I click on "Check for Updates", begins checking for office updates then I
receive
a message "Your system setting prohibits you from installing office updates
yourself...contact the system administrator...etc".
I am logged in as a domain admin.

Anyone had this problem before?

Thanks
Randy

Hi Randy,

Generally, if you installed from an Office Admin point
then the assumption is that the updating process will
be 'controlled' by an Administrator rather than
having people download their own updates, but it can
depend on the setup choices you made.

See if the information here helps.
