Office 2003 Update failed, now Excel is trying to reinstall

I tried to update Office 2003 because there's some security flaw. It failed
and now when I try to open excel it opens the Windows Installer and stops
because it can't find sku112.cab. The program was preinstalled on this
computer as a 60 day trial, which I bought and activated. Now Microsoft
wants me to pay $35 just to email them with my problem to fix. Does anyone
know a way around this?
