Yes, with one exception. Normally during installation of Office 2003 you
are asked if you want to remove prior version. Use Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs to remove.
The exception is that Office comes in various editions with different sets
of applications included. Microsoft makes some changes in what is offered
with each revision. Compare the list of applications included in your
editions of Office XP and Office 2003. If you have an Office application
such as Access 2002 from your Office XP installation which is not included
in your Office 2003 installation, that application will be left intact when
you upgrade to Office 2003. If this is the case, you can choose to remove
the application or continue to use it.
