I have a new computer with Windows XP and want to install
Office 2003 so I can have Word and Excel. Which one do I
need? The regular version or the upgrade version?

Hi Angie,

You will need the full version unless you have a qualifying product
for the upgrade. Here is a list of the various editions and qualifying
products:

if you don't have a previous version of Office that qualifies you for the
Upgrade, then you need to Full version.
