Office 2003 will not open - Office 2007 has over run it.

We have a new computer that had Office 2007 trial installed on windows vista.
I intalled Office 2003 as we prefered tat version but as time has gone on
2007 has downloaded update etc. I can no longer run Office 2003 as it will
not open any application eg word, excel or powerpoint. We keep getting the
message to reintal but will not run repair from the origional cd. Service
pack 3 has been installed on 2003. How do I get 2003 to work again & disable
offece 2007?

Sorry I did not uninstall 2007 which I am wishing I had done now. I gather it
is hard to uninstall 2007 now pluc I can not find the registation number for
2003 now as I am unable to open the application to find in the help section.

You don't need the registration number for Office 2003, you need the product
license code...it's not found under help, it's found on the on the CD case.

I have the key number not a problem. The computer or 2003 will not let me run
repair though. Should I reinstall 2003 and if so how do I get on when it says
that this is not a valid instalation to complete the set up?
