Office 2003

I have both versions of Office running 97 and 2003. By defualt I would like
to be in Office 2003 and have the office 97 rtf be the first choice in the
save as field. I have more users that I send the 97 format to than 2003 .
How can I do this?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

The listing sequence isn't readily modifiable but you can
use Tools=>Options=>Save in Word and select
[x] Disable features not available in Word 97
and then either .DOC or .RTF files shouldn't be an issue
for Word 97 users. You can also select RTF as your default
format there if you prefer, but you'll get larger files with RTF.

Bob,
Thank you for the quick response. I was able to get ahold of the user and
walk them through it.

Thanks again,
Mark
