Office 2003

I had a hard disk failure and had to replace the hard
drive under warranty from the manufacturer ( Maxtor).
Before replacing it I use the maxtor supplied tools to
fix the the bad block and then connected the new drive
and copied the faulty disk to the new one. Luckily
everything works fine but Office gives me errors when I
try to open received attachements in MS Word and suggests
that I should run the repair feature. When I try to do
that I get an error regarding the "Windows installer
patch files (.MSP files) and to contact Microsoft
support.If I click OK, Word opens correctly.
I tried to uninstall Office 2003 but I get the same
error.
Can somebody help me to uninstall Office 2003 so I can re-
install it?

Hi, Jacques,

I'd run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Have it remove Office 2003 installer data, then re-install Office 2003 and
its patches.
