Office 2003

I have 2003 and need to know how to find out if I purchased it, in which case
I can use the 2007 upgrade. I am being told that if it came already loaded
on the computer I can't upgrade. Is there a place online I can put in my
registration number to find out if I have to buy the whole suite or just the
upgrade. Thanks!

No. You don't know if you purchased Office 2003?!?!? If you don't have
the install media for 2003, things can get pretty iffy at install time
for upgrade versions.

Thought I had it - but can't find it. Thought maybe there would be somewhere
I could find out through Microsoft online. I guess I'll just buy the new
preloaded from Dell. Thanks for your help!

Sorry, Microsoft doesn't keep track of what individuals purchase. At
best, registering your software would only put you on a mailing list
someplace.
