Office 2003_very sluggish

I recently set-up Office 2003 on my computer (from a new, purchased CD-Rom)
and the software is behaving very sluggisly. Whenever I try to open a Word,
Excel, or PowerPoint document, it takes about 2 minutes to open and nearly
stalls the computer. Once it opens it works fine. Also happens when I try to
open e-mail attachments.

My computer has 760 MB RAM. It's an Intel Celeron CPU 2.4GHZ. Operating
system is Windows XP.

I've uninstalled it once all ready and re-installed using typical install.

Any suggestions?

Do you also use Norton AV? If so, in the Norton Options under Miscellaneous
deselect "Enable Office Plug-in".

what oyu suggested and it worked! Thanks again.
