Office 2004/2008 for Mac - plans to include in MSDN subscriptionlist?

I saw a post here from a couple of years ago where it was stated that
the MSDN subscription list didn't include Office 2004 for Mac. Does
anyone know if this is likely to change any time soon?

I doubt that anyone here has any insights into the "plans" of MS beyond
those which are announced by same - and if they do they certainly aren't at
liberty to reveal those plans.

The only fact is that the one Mac Office app included in MSDN is Entourage,
needed for Exchange Server compatibility - simply because Outlook isn't
available for Macs. If speculation counts for anything, I see no reason for
that to change... But ya never know:)

If the matter is important to you I'd recommend that you have everyone you
know submit feedback to MS asking for the inclusion & offering some details
in support of why it might be to their advantage to do so.

I would bet a fairly expensive cocktail that it will not change, ever.

The Microsoft Developer Subscription is intended for people who are, well,
"developers".

Since the next version of Office will not be customisable via any Microsoft
developer products, there seems little likelihood of getting that product to
appear.

Anyway, you can't install MSDN copies in production, the licence covers only
30-day testing. So there's no loss.

Cheers

With one, teensy tiny exception: Office!

The licensing page summarizes (with much more verbiage in the actual
EULA):
Software provided through MSDN Subscriptions is licensed for design,
development, test and demonstration of your applications. MSDN
Premium subscribers may also use the 2007 Microsoft Office system*
for any use.
* With the exception of Project Professional

So an MSDN Premium subscriber CAN use Office 2007 for anything,
including production, in perpetuity!

It would be nice if Office 2008 were offered under the same terms...
the licence covers only 30-day testing.

Hmmm... that doesn't appear anywhere in the MSDN EULA...
