Office 2004 file icons appear all funny

I just got a new MacBook with Leopard, and installed my old Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac, and updated everything. It works fine, but the icons for the files appear all small, and just black and white. Any suggestions?

I think what you are seeing is the new way Leopard deals with icons. I had a
similar reaction.

Turns out that if you get a really close look, you¹ll see that they are
little pictures of the first page of the document. It¹s actually kind of
cool except that I don¹t particularly like it because my first priority is
to be able to tell what kind of file it is rather than what kind of picture
is in it. The exception of course is a photo file, but I don¹t use many.
