Office 2004 for Mac Standard vs. Professional

Is the only difference between Standard & Professional the inclusion of
Windows Virtual PC in the Professional bundle? Are there no other
differences?

Yes, that and the fact that Office 2004 Standard is now available in stores,
and Office 2004 Professional has not yet been released.

Nope, that is the only difference.

Does anyone know if I purchase Office 2004 Macintosh Standard today,
can I do a step upgrade to Professional when it comes out and just pay
the difference?

i can't get this answer anywhere and its holding me up from purchasing
my Office 2004 Upgrade from Office V.X

There hasn't been any information released about upgrades between 'flavours'
of office 2004. You will probably have to buy the full version of VPC.

May I suggest that is not a very customer friendly approach. If you are going to delay a flavor, particularly the premium flavor of a product, there should be a clear way to make a purchase decision and not have to worry about paying double for an upgrade or otherwise being locked out of the preffered and premium path...

You can say it, but saying it here won't do any good since we're all
just users. Send feedback to MacBU via Help/Feedback...

Where exactly would I find the MacBU via Help/Feedback location?
(ie a URL?)

Thanks
