Office 2004 for Mac won't work with my main identity

I have MS Office 2004 for Mac w/ SP2 installed on my Mac. Whenever I
try to open any of the programs(Word, Excel, etc) in my main identity,
I get an error message: "An unexpected error occurred while trying to
load the Microsoft Framework library." I also get an error message" MS
Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." But- when I log on with a different identity,
everything works fine, and there are no error messages. Please advise.

One of your service packs has not applied properly.

Re-apply the latest service pack and any updaters released since. That
should clear it.

Framework errors are caused by incompatible component versions, usually as a
result of a failed, partially applied or missed update.
