Office 2004 for Mac

I am in the process of buying Office 2004 for the Mac. I'm a registered user
of v.x and 98. I recently moved and all I have left is the UPC from the v.x
box. Do I need the id number to be able to upgrade from v.x to 2004 other
than the info on the UPC sticker. I don't have the CD serial or id number.

See this page for instructions on how to replace missing CD serial:

In addition to Walt's advice, if you have a valid copy of Office v.X on
your machine, you will be able to upgrade - the installer will look for
the older version on the disk.
