Within the last 48 hours I have encountered a problem with Office 2004
Help. I first noticed it in PPT but it happened to Word and Excel at
about the same time. During this time I upgraded from OS X 10.3.8 to
10.3.9 but I think the problem appeared before the upgrade, not
absolutely sure. I did repair permissions several times, both before
and after upgrading.
When I open PPT Help (or Word Help or Excel Help) the Help window has
no title bar at the top of the Help window and therefore no close
button. I can not move the Help window around the desktop. The Help
window is "anchored" to the lower edge of the main Mac menu bar. The
only way I can get the Help window to close is to quit the application
and re-start it.
My computer is set up as a multi-user environment and only my account
(the admin acct) is affected. The other user account does not have this
problem.
Any help(!?) will be greatly appreciated.
