Office 2004 Icons

This may be stupid, but how do I delete the Office 2004 Icons off the
Dock. When you right click the icon the only thing that comes up is
show in finder.

You can get rid of any closed application's icon by dragging it off the
dock.

No can do. When you click & try to drag to trash nothing happens. I
can't believe microsoft set it up this way. I may just have to
reinstall and make sure I uncheck not to install icons on the dock.

You don't drag the icon to the trash can. Just click on the icon and drag
it up off the doc and let go. It goes away in a puff of smoke.

That's why I said "dragging it off the dock". The trash is *on* the
dock. Just drag the icon off the dock and let go of the mouse button.

Simply reinstalling won't have any effect. Don't bother.

Thanks for your help. It worked. Guess I was making it harder than it
should have been.
