Office 2004 purchase?

I am wanting to purchase MS Office 2004, is there going to be a newer
version anytime soon or should I go ahead and buy? Does anyone know of any
good deals on the professional version of this software. I will also need
Windows XP.

Office 2004 will be the latest version for quite a while (at least the
rest of this year, and probably next). Figure a 24-36 month target cycle
seems reasonable.

Look at the software houses for Office Pro (which comes with both
Virtual PC 7, and Windows XP) deals, but they'll probably be pretty
comparable.

It may be significantly cheaper if you can find a deeply discounted copy
of Office98 (e.g., on Ebay, at a user group or Apple store, etc.), then
buy the Pro upgrade version.

Does Office 2004 come with Windows XP Pro? Some of the descriptions I am
reading are a little confusing.
