My Office 2004 is running at v. 11.2.1. How do I know if I need SP 2?

Is SP 2 necessary, and work correctly?

Thanks

You already have the SP2 update, as indicated by the .2 in your version
number. For future references, simply run the Microsoft AutoUpdate
application (which can be found in your Applications folder, or from within
every Office application under Help>Check for Updates). You can find more
info on SP2 on this website:

The updater itself had a read-me associated with it that would tell you.
However, from MacTopia Downloads
(http://microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx):
Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.1 Update
This update fixes a synchronization issue in versions of Microsoft Entourage
that have been updated with Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 2
(11.2.0).

If you updated via Microsoft AutoUpdate, SP2 was applied automatically.
If you updated manually, I *think* the 11.2.1 updater will give you an
error message if SP2 wasn't already applied.
