Office 2004 trial won't start

Hi there,

I do an install and then click on one of the apps. It gets as far as "importing
custom dictionaries", then quits. I've tried renaming my custom dictionaries,
but that doesn't help. so I have two questions.
1) How do I fix this problem?
2) Does this only affect the trial, or could I experience the same problem
with the full product.
