Office 2004 Vs Office X

Hi,

I recently upgrade my Office X to Office 2004. I haven't tested out
new features, but I find noticable different when looking at the same
file in both version. Actually, I open them side by side, having
Office X and Office 2004 (Excel) opened. The fonts don't look as
sharp. Even when I bold the letters, they still look unclear. Can
anyone tell me is there a bug in the Office 2004, or I just need to
live with that? Thanks.

The document I have has all Geneva fonts.

Word v.X had a setting for Quartz font smoothing. Office 2004 takes its
smoothing setting from the System Preferences, so make an adjustment
there (System Preferences/Appearance Pane).
