Office 2004 won't install.

I can copy accross from the office 2004 to my hdd but when I run the
installer (where you enter the cd key etc) it stops on agreeing to the rules. I
click agree and it then goes to show the cd key screen but crashes or goes
away before that happens and the app quits. There isn't anything in the
console log and I've tried two different copies from the store. One of which
worked on their machines. I think the problem may be my mac, but I don't
have a clue why.

Any ideas or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you installing from an administrator account? Have you repaired your
disk permissions before trying to install? See
