Office 2004

Greg

I bought Office 2004, installed it onto my Mac (titanium) powerbook
1ghz and then registered with Microsoft. Unfortunately Grand Cayman,
were I live, was hit by hurricane Ivan in September last year and I
lost 95% of my possesions. My powerbook was washed away and along with
it my original cd and the product registration number for Office 2004.
I have now saved up for a new computer.

Question: As I registered the product when I bought it will Micrsoft
recognise me and allow me to download it again even though I don't have
my product registration number? Do they have me on their records?

Any help or guidance with this problem would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Greg

Unfortunately, registration only "registers" you for an electronic
newsletter (and perhaps email updates). MS doesn't keep track of your
Product ID or CD Key.

If you can get some sort of proof of purchase (perhaps the source you
bought Office 2004 from will have something), calling Product Support
Services is probably your best bet. See
