Office 2007 activation

Hello, I'm having an issue with the office 2007 beta 2 activation wizard I
was hoping someone might be able to help me out with. Each time I run the
wizard an error is returned stating the wizard could not find an active
connection to the internet. I'd tried disabling all my firewalls but this
did not seem to help. any clues?
