office 2007 adm

Steven

I downloaded the new office 07 adm templates and copied them to the ini file,
pulled them into the GPO mmc and they don't work, not a one.

I've tried this on 2 different servers in 2 different domains getting the
same results, below the the RSOP:

An error has occurred while collecting data for Administrative Templates.

The following errors were encountered:
The .adm file
"\\<servername>.<domainname>.local\SysVol\<domain>.local\Policies\{1C6AB1E5-28C2-45D5-A9E0-8BFFC0812BEE}\adm\cpao12.adm"
is not in a valid format and must be replaced. Details: A string is expected
at line 56.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Steven,

What .ini file are you using for these? The 2007 Office system uses a different setup and configuration method than previous Office
editions and the retail and volume license/Enterprise products have differences as well.

You may want to take a look at the deployment material in the 2007 Office system Resource Kit (ORK2007)
