Office 2007 admin template update

i've applied admin templates dated 10/2006 to whole domain.

now i find new admin templates dated 9/2007 in Microsoft.

according to the size of file, the templates are different.

how can i update these templates without lossing past settings? do it more
smart?

or i need to check manually from the old templates?
