I installed Office 2007 on my Laptop which is a Dell Xps Studio 16. Once the
install was complete I activated it and proceeded to complete all the
updates that were available. With all the updates and such done I rebooted
the computer and started to use it. Upon launching Excel it started and then
just sat there doing nothing and by clicking on the opened app it stated
that it wasn't responding. I left it open and in about a minute it
responded, was there and there are no problems. All the applications in 2007
are doing the same thing no matter what I do. I have network connection it
is a local install there are no drives hidden that it is trying to get to
and it is activated. I just can't figure out what is making it wait for a
minute to open.
Has anyone had this experience that they might be able to help with? I also
am running Avast and I have disabled it to try and open, it did the same
thing.
