Hello,
I use office 2007 and vista ultimate
I want to index tiff files to scan and save normal mail (from the
postoffice)
Using scanning and Microsoft Office Document Imaging I can save OCR
properties to the tiff file.
On the tools-options-OCR tab indexing is enabled (fast search) Does
anybody what fast search mean when implemented on Vista because
fastsearch.exe isn't installed anymore..
When I do that it is possible to search the contents of the file using
Vista with the option.
Include non-indexed, hidden and system files.
Here I must click on search in file contents
But shouldn't it be possible to find the contents of a file from
indexed locations??
I already tried several times to rebuild my index.
The test scans are located on c:\scan, this location is included.
On the properties of TIF and TIFF within indexing service the selection
is set to index file properties and contents,
Somebody any idea?
