office 2007 asks to convert each time and won't activate

Everytime I choose to convert my office 2007 trial to the full version, it
accepts my product key and goes through the confuguration process. After this
it will ask me to close it out and restart so the changes can take effect.
When I do so it'll ask me again to convert to the full product and will not
activate. What should I do?

Hi i am having the same problem and would really appreciate any comment
that coult help.

I have tried deleting the file which holds the activation data, and r
activating but it ended the trial period and made it worse

I have un installed and re installed. but nothing helps
