Office 2007 Attachment Are .Zip in Outlk 2003. Outlk 2003 Can't Op

Several of us Outlk 2003 users are unable to open Outlk 2007 attachments. The
Office 2007 attachments display as .zip in Outlook 2003 email. The
folders/file display (_rels, _word, _docProps, content_types.xml) when
attempt to extract the file. Our other Outlk 2003 users are able to view the
attachments in Outlk 2003 email correctly (as excel, word, etc.) and are able
to open the same Office 2007 attachments. We all have the Office 2007
Compatibility Pack installed. Please let me know what we need to do in order
for Office 2007 attachments to display correctly in Outlk 2003, and open
these files? Please help! Help!

I found a solution to our problem of not being able to open Outlook 2007
attachments: I removed the Max Compression Add-in in Outlook. In Outlook
2003 Professional, click tools-->options-->other-->advanced options-->add-in
manager. Uncheck the Max Compression add-in. Click OK to close the options
screens. Now, all of the Office 2007 attachments are no longer being
displayed in Outlook 2003 as .zip file extension. They are being displayed
with the correct file extensions.
