Office 2007 auto-select suite?

Chris

Hi all,

I've created an .msp with the OCT which works just fine.
The only thing I have yet to resolve to make the installation
run fully automated is the suite selection screen.

What I have to do now is start setup with the correct commandline options
to use the MSP, and then I have to select the Enterprise Suite and click next.
Then the installation starts and goes on 'til it's done.

What I want, is to have it fully automated. I want the setup to select
Enterprise
automatically and begin install emediately without any prompts. One click
install.
I need it for my "limited skills" administrators in my company.

Does anyone have a way to achieve this???

Hi Chris,

If you have multiple MS Office 2007 products in a single Network Installation point (oNIP) you can use a shortcut to a batch
file/script that includes the full command line that selects which product (or series of products if chaining the installation) you
want to install, or point to a config.xml file for that product. You may find the links from the Office Resource Kit team's blog
helpful with this.
