Office 2007 beta 2 needed

Yesterday I uninstalled my Office 2007 beta 2 software only to realize after
that I needed to save my word and excel documents in Office 2003 format to
open them in my current Office 2003 software.

Is there any way I can get hold of the beta 2 software again?

The trial versions don't seem to be available and anyway I read that they
won't open documents created in beta 2 either.

Can anyone help me with this - perhaps someone has a copy on CD they can
send to me?

Hi Jo,

I had the same problem when I removed the office 2007 trial version but when
I tried to open a file I previously created in Office 2007 I was prompted to
go to the MS website where there is free software that converts 2007 files so
you can open these documents in 2003

Thanks Roy.

Sadly the converters ( I assume you are talking about the compatibility pack
) on the MS site do not work. I've tried them.

What I really need is a copy of the beta2 software.

Thanks for your reply anyway.

Thanks JoAnn. I'm really looking for a way to resolve my problem not a
lecture on software licensing. If you can suggest a solution, rather than a
barrier, I would be most grateful. Joe

If they did, they would be breaking the law. Distribution of Microsoft
property is tightly controlled - even beta versions.
