Office 2007 Beta and Office XP

Larry S

Greetings,

I read somewhere that the Office 2007 Beta expires in February 2007 and if
not purchased, I must revert to Office XP.

Will the uninstall of Office 2007 restore the mail and other files to Office
XP format? Right now I keep two systems, one with Office 2007 and the other
with Office XP, in sync with SyncToy. In Office XP, I can see headers for
all mail items , but only the contents of mail received prior to installing
Office 2007 or received in Office XP, but not received in Office 2007. I
can see the contents of all in Office 2007.

I am using Word and Excel in compatibility mode, so those files should not
be affected.

Thank you
Larry S

For missing message bodies, remove the AVG mail certification.

If using the new unicode format for the .pst file, copy your items to a
97-2002 format before the trial expires.

Milly,

I looked in the Office 2007 account settings, personal folders for my
hotmail.com e-mail and see the format is 97-2002. I recall something during
the Office 2007 installation process setting a compatibility option to
Office 2002. However, this is true for only hotmail.com; my hotmail.co.uk
is simply Personal Folders File. How to I make the change and how to I do
the removal of the AVG certification?

Many thanks,
Larry S

Also, why can't I reinstall the Office 2007 Beta on my main PC? I did have
it, but it stopped processing all e-mail and a reinstall failed.
