Office 2007 Beta Problem

T

TomG

A few days ago a glitch developed with Office 2007 beta. After working fine
for over two weeks, suddenly whenever I open one of the Office 2007 programs,
the installation program for Office XP appears. I cancel it and it retstarts.
After 3 repetitions, the 2007 programs open. However, every time I click on a
command within an 2007 beta program, the installer appears again.
Has anyone else encountered this problem??

Hi Tom,

If you're running multiple versions of Microsoft Office products the MS installer may have detected what it believes is a problem
with one of the versions and will try to fix it.

You may need to use Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel, select your Microsoft Office XP/2002 product and run the
repair/reinstall (change) feature (shut down all Office apps first).
