Office 2007 beta Table Problem

I

Ian W

When "Repeat Heading Rows" was selected (after a table had extended over two
pages) the table got confused:
- Rows of the table were repeated
- The table 'thought' "Repeat Heading Rows" was selected in several
different rows of the table, so this control could not be toggled off
regardless of how thew table was selected.
- Selection of table text in one place resulted in highlighted text in
anotherrow
- Problem was resolved by looking for "Repeat Heading Rows" in every row (by
selecting row by row) then toggling off on each occurrence.
- looks like an XML tag mix-up to me.

Hi Ian,

Is this a document created in Word 2007 or in an earlier version?
Is it saved as a .doc or .docx file?

I wasn't able to duplicate this, other than if you have the cursor in a row other than the first row of a table when you use the
Table Tools=>Layout tab and turn on Repeat Heading Rows, rows from there to the top are all included, but there could be some
corruption in the file, or there may be some specific steps you're using that I'm missing.

Please also send this directly to the MS Office Product Team by using the 2007 feedback tool link below.
