Office 2007 breaks Photodraw Ver. 2 from saving

S

Super2online

I have installed Office 2007 beta 2 onto 2 machines and in both instances the
Office install breaks Photodraw's ability to save to any format other than
its own native .mix format. I have tried every suggestion I have found on the
net trying to fix this problem afterwards to no avail.

Has anyone had the same problem? Did you find a solution?

Why doesn't Microsoft support its own legacy .mix format in the new
Microsoft Expression Graphic Designer May 2006 CTP? I'm trying to transition
to this app now, but you would think it would support its own previous
formats!

This whole situation has caused a huge problem for me with no solution in
sight!

You may want to post the question/suggestion on Expression Graphic Designer to their newsgroup using the link below.

MS Photodraw 2000 has been retired by Microsoft from some time, so it may not have formally tested with the new version of Office.

What happens when you use File=>Save as in Photodraw 2000 v2 and choose a different format? Have you run a Detect and repair of
Photodraw 2000 v2 using the MS Office 2000 or Photodraw listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel.
