Office 2007 color schemes

A

Adam Raff

Good Day,

We have started putting Office 2007 out on our desktops and I have been
getting a lot of complaints on the color scheme that the new Office has. A
lot of my users are saying that the color is way too bright. I only see
three color schemes which you have to go to in the other office products;
they are Blue Silver and Black. I looked on the web site and I did not see
any there. Is there any where else that I am missing?

Thanks
Adam Raff

That's it, just those three. I would suggest they experiment with their
monitor controls to see if they can find something a bit easier on the eyes.
(I had to do that with my new LCD monitor last week. I was getting welder's
flash.)

Hi Adam,

I agree with JoAnn's suggestion.

The three schemes are the only ones that Office 2007 can use. To make the
screen more suitable for eyes, please adjust the monitor settings.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to your users, and I will
report this scenario to our related team, and I am sure they will take a
look into this.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me know.

Regards,

Leon Hao

My issue with the color schemes centers around consistency. I can deal with
the colors, in fact I like the black, but how do I make Project 2007, Visio
2007, and OneNote follow the same scheme as the core applications of Office
2007. I cannot take the powder blue default and have not been able to figure
out how to change it. Any help?

for the explanation when and why which Office application uses which
color scheme.

Not yet. I think we may be stuck with the blue. (My husband and I both use
the black as well.)
