I have Office 2003 installed on my PC (XP OS), I have installed the
Compatibility Pack for 2007 and I received the prompt telling me it installed
successfully. However I have the following symptoms:
I can open a 2007 excel file from my hard drive
I can NOT open a 2007 excel file from my intranet site (MOSS 2007) – Error:
‘This file is not in a recognizable format’
Excel does not offer the option to save Excel document in the 2007 format
On the PC next to me, all is alright with the world, in that the Pack is
installed and it opens excel documents from the MOSS 2007 site and offers the
2007 format as a save option.
Clearly I am missing something, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
