Office 2007 Compatibility

Hello, we are in the midst of getting the quote for office 2007, just
wondering if we use 2007, will it be able to read / save office 2002 or 2003
word, excel, powerpoint format? or vice-versa.

Yes, 2007 can read older formats and you can save as the older formats.
Older versions of office can read 2007 with the downloadable compatibility
pack.

Personal comment: I don't think you should "force" others to download that
software just because you don't feel like doing a Save As instead of just
Save. Not everyone will download the pack and will be unable to open your
files.

Yes to saving in earlier formats from Office 2007 (in fact... you can
specify those as the default, if needed). Yes also to using Office 2007
files from Office 2002/3, provided that the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack
has been installed. Note that even with the Pack, Office 2007-specific
features will not survive editing in earlier versions.
